"My late husband and I had an unfortunate issue with a phone installer at our apartment back in October of last year. A large urn which was one of a pair of urns has knocked over and broken. The company made us a very low offer for the replacement value at which point we contacted Richard Beau lieu and his company. He visited our home and inspected the damage at which point he took photos and made note of the necessary information he would need to give us an accurate appraised value of the damaged piece based on the one remaining undamaged urn. After submitting the appraisal documents to the installer’s company they agreed to increase the amount they would pay but only to the price we had pay for it in 1952. After this offer was made we sent a return letter to the legal department of the company. Happy to say they agree to pay appraised value and issued us a check for the full price of the urn. We’re grateful to Richard for his expertise in researching and appraising our damage urn and thought other might enjoy hearing our story."
