He researched the artist as promised and got back to me within a day or two. Turns out my painting is not worth much, but I love it still. I have had past experiences with art appraisers both in FL, NJ and Philadelphia who wouldn't even deign to help me since I didn't have some vast art collection that they could make commissions on.
